La Leche League Leatherhead
La Leche League is an international organisation founded in 1956 by seven women who wanted to help their friends who were interested in breastfeeding. Its mission is to help mothers worldwide to breastfeed through mother-to-mother support, education, information, and encouragement and to promote a better understanding of breastfeeding as an important element in the healthy development of the baby and the mother.
LLL Leatherhead meetings take place every month usually on the first Tuesday.
Meetings start at 10.30am and finish at about midday.
There are refreshments and a well stocked library.

La Leche League services are free.
We offer membership to support LLL activities such as community outreach programmes, books for group libraries, leaflets to send to mothers who call for support, and telephone help lines. Family membership costs £25 per year; other memberships available on request.
Members receive the bimonthly members magazine, Breastfeeding Matters, a magazine filled with articles, letters, reviews and news on breastfeeding and family life.
